The Capital Procurement Unit provides oversight and procurement process support for Design, Program Management, Construction, Finance and Accounting. Capital Procurement manages procurements for design consultants and other construction related services (i.e. Program Studies, Commissioning or Construction Management), reviews consultant selections, fee proposals and project scopes and prepares contract documents for approval.
Design consultants are selected by a committee of architectural, engineering, planning and campus professionals on a “most highly qualified” basis. Construction Management firms (CM as Agent) are selected on a “best value” basis.
Capital Procurement is the designated contact for any questions related to procurements for design services and other professional services related to Fund projects. Capital Procurement can be contacted at (518) 320-1639.
