The State University Construction Fund (SUCF) is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from consultants to provide design and construction administration services for the Replace Mechanical Systems/Partial Interior Renovation – Culkin Hall for Administration project at the State University of New York at Oswego. Culkin Hall, constructed in 1967, is a 63,600 GSF, nine-story building including a basement below grade. The building houses most of the campus administration services. The building's mechanical systems are original and have exceeded their useful life. The Project will upgrade mechanical systems to meet current code requirements. The Project will replace inefficient building-wide mechanical systems and the building management control system. The project will include the installation of a ground source heat pump and wellfield. Partial interior renovations include replacement of interior finishes and the relocation of the exterior storefront to enclose the first-floor overhang to prevent water infiltration into the basement. The Project includes the removal of hazardous materials and will provide upgrades to meet current code and ADA requirements.
